The
Rural Municipality of Elfros
The RM of Elfros is located at the southeast corner of the Quill Lakes,
bordering the south and east shores of Little Quill Lake.
The land is very good for mixed farming, grain and livestock.
Highways #16 and #35 run thru the RM, providing very good access to and from our
area.
Highway # 16 is the highway that serves the major cities of central
western Canada.
Highway #35 is a CanAm highway, starting at the US border and ending at Nipawin,
Sk.
Our population is 481 people on farms, acreages and in the Hamlet of Mozart.
The Village of Elfros is located at the intersection of the two highways near the
center of our RM.
The Village of Leslie is located on highway # 16 at the
eastern edge of our municipality.

Our office is located in Elfros, in
the former Bank of Commerce building on
Front Avenue, and our shop is located on Nacka Street in Elfros.
Office hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Council meets at our office the second Tuesday of every month, starting at 9 am. |
