     The RM of Elfros is located at the southeast corner of the Quill Lakes, bordering the south and east shores of Little Quill Lake.
     The land is very good for mixed farming, grain and livestock.

     Highways #16 and #35 run thru the RM, providing very good access to and from our area. Highway # 16 is the highway that serves the major cities of central western Canada. Highway #35 is a CanAm highway, starting at the US border and ending at Nipawin, Sk.

     Our population is 481 people on farms, acreages and in Leslie and Mozart.
     The Village of Elfros is located at the intersection of the two highways near the center of our RM.  
     The Hamlet of Mozart is located north of Highway 16, near the west side of our RM.
     The Special Services Area of Leslie, formerly Village of Leslie is located on Highway # 16 at the eastern edge of our municipality.   

 

Our office is located in Elfros, in the former Bank of Commerce building on Front Avenue, and our shop is located on Nacka Street in Elfros.      Office hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.        Council meets at our office the second Tuesday of every month, starting at 9 am.

 

Our administrator is Glenn Thompson.

Our reeve is Henry Bzdel.
