Sponsors and Website Advertising Quill-Lakes.com is a commercial website featuring fourteen Community Directory websites and is designed, maintained and published by McDougall Computer Services of Elfros, Sask. Our main website, www.quill-lakes.com contains a Community Directory for each of fourteen communities in the Quill Lakes and Fishing Lake area. Quill-lakes.com has been on the internet since 1996, is well known and information about the communities is easily found by any good search engine. The website averages about 100,000 hits monthly. The goal of each Community Directory is to promote local business by listing the names of all the businesses and community groups in an easy to find and easy to use internet directory and describing what service they provide. 60% of the directory users are people who use the Community Directory websites regularly as their browser start page or as one of their favorite websites. They seem to be referring to the directory for information about local businesses. The rest of the Community Directory users are visitors who have found the directory from an internet search. They may be looking for information about the community before they come here. The Community Directory websites are entirely funded by the sale of website advertising packages to local businesses and community groups. Our website advertising packages are intended to provide internet advertising value to local businesses and groups by placing their name on banners, highlighting their name in color and linking their website to the directory. Information about our website advertising packages and current pricing is shown below.
Standard Package This is the basic promotion package that
is
provided free to every business and community group that is active in the
town and area. For example, the local gas station that also sells confectionary items could be listed on both the Auto Services page and the Food page. The service club which also has a lounge in it's clubroom could be on the Community Services page and the Recreation & Entertainment page. Bronze Advertising
Package This package is intended for the
business or group who want their name to be seen before their competitors
name and who want a better description of their business in the Community Directory. Bronze Sponsors get: 1) Bold name and description Silver Advertising
Package This package is intended for businesses and groups who want to provide more information to their customers and who have a website that they want displayed in the Community Directory. We can link their name in the Community Directory directly to their website. The website link is especially important because the website visitor who has found your name in the community directory is already interested in your services and wants to learn more about you. Adding a link to your website allows that prospective customer to see your website immediately by clicking on your name in the directory. Silver sponsors get: 1) Bold name and description Gold Advertising Package This package is intended for the businesses and groups who want to provide more information to their customers but do not have a website suitable to display in the Community Directory. We can make a website, rent it to them on a monthly basis and link the new website to their name in the Community Directory. The website will be a simple website about two printed pages long and can be used to give address information, a picture of your place of business or staff, information about your business or some promotion information about your product. You will have full copyright to the website for as long as you are a gold sponsor. We can make changes to the website at any time with fee and will make minor changes every three months without charge. Gold sponsors get: 1) Bold name and description All packages are billed in advance and for a three month term at a time. For more information or to purchase a sponsorship package, please contact me.
